Ruth S. (Moser) Alberts, 73, of Cogan Station, passed away at The Gatehouse on Saturday, March 28, 2020.

Ruth was born in Williamsport on July 22, 1946, a daughter of Charles and Ruth (Nork) Moser.

She had an associate degree and was a graduate of Penn College's LPN program. She had been employed as an LPN at The Williamsport Home for many years.

Ruth was a devoted catholic and attended services at St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Surviving are her sister, Sara Moser; nephews, Chris Moser, and Steve Sofopoulos; three great-nephews, a great-niece and her best friend with whom she lived, Mary Ann Stine. She was a devoted mother to all of the many pets, all of whom she loved. Outside of work and other activities she enjoyed spending time watching television and moves, and loved to cook. She was always busy; her best friend, Mary Ann, always said she had one hand on the remote and the other on the phone.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Donald E. Alberts, and sister, Nancy Moser, preceded her in death.

A private family graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests, memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be made to, Susquehanna Foundation, for the benefit of The Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
