"Sam" Harry W. Fox, 64, of Jersey Shore passed away on Oct. 4, 2021.

Sam was born on July 26, 1957, a son of Elwyn Mac Fox and Delores Shaffer Fox. He attended Williamsport Area High School and went to work for S.T.E.P. where among other skills he learned the electrical trade, he worked a number of jobs until starting to work for Paul DiMichele. He then started with his partner Robert Strauser, Fox & Strauser Electrical Contractors and they worked as contractors for 22 years. Sam used his skills not only as a job, but he was always there to use his skills to help friends and family.

When he was younger, he along with Vincent Quick and Fred Eiswerth Sr.  acted as group leaders for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 93, he enjoyed being outdoors, camping, chopping firewood.

Sam also enjoyed shopping; he liked all the holidays. He took great joy in decorating and celebrating Christmas with his family. He enjoyed woodworking and was craftsman at heart. He always had a project going, with several irons in the fire on any given day.

He and his wife, the former Tracy M. Russell, would have celebrated their 44 ^th wedding anniversary on November 19, 2021.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, Jesse J. Fox of Jersey Shore, and daughter, Michelle L. Fox Snyder of Jacksonville. FL, as well as sisters Isabelle Fox Williams and Deborah K. Fox.

In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his son, Samual H. Fox, and brothers Richard Lee Fox and Mac Elwyn Fox.

The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 133 E Third St., Williamsport, on Friday at 1:30pm with his nephew, Pastor Justin Decker officiating, burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery.
