Sara Dubs Richart, 97, formerly from Williamsport, PA, died Monday, December 22, 2025, at Elk Run Assisted Living in Evergreen, Colorado.

She was born on September 18, 1928, in Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania, to parents Earl and Helen (Marcey) Dubs.

She graduated from Dickerson Prep School in 1947 and attended Lycoming College. Sara was a member for many years at Faxon Kenmar Methodist Church, a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Loyalsock Garden Club, Williamsport Women's Club, and a volunteer at the Divine Providence Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William M. Richart, son Scott D. Richart, and sister Jane Babcock.

She is survived by her daughters, Marilee (Mark) Glunk and Susan (John) Schoeller; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews. She moved from Williamsport Home to Colorado to be closer to family.

Arrangements will be entrusted to Crouse Funeral Home. There will be a private family burial at Lewisburg Cemetery.
