Sherry Kay Miles, 68, of Williamsport, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at home, while surrounded by her loving family.

Sherry was born in Lock Haven on July 11, 1956, a daughter of Dale E. and Annie Elizabeth (Merrill) Bower.

She had been employed at the former Trim-Tex and the former C.A. Reed., Sherry enjoyed sewing, crochet and scratch-off tickets, but her greatest pleasure was her family, her grandchildren were the center of her life.

Surviving are her children and their families; daughter, Christine E. Kennedy (Adam Hill) of South Williamsport, son, Martin J. Miles (Elizabeth Wyland) of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Andrew M. Kennedy, Anthony M. Kennedy, Lacie R. Miles, and Renaye E. Miles; great grandchildren; Malaki M. Nichols, Easton C. Kennedy and Vivienne J. Kennedy; brother, Albert Bower; sisters, Judy Confer and Lois (Dan) Welshan.

In addition to her parents, brothers, Dale Bower, Harry Bower, Robert Bower Sr. and sisters, Shirl Bower, Phyllis Hamm, Dorothy Vonada and Emma Kramer all preceded her in death.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life in the near future
