Shirley E. Mohney, 89, of Cogan Station, passed away on October 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Williamsport on November 17, 1934, a daughter of Charles E. and Rose E. (Hulihan) Schuler.

She met the love of her life, Robert Paul Mohney and they were married on February 10, 1952. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary prior to his death on June 19, 2007.

Shirley had been employed at the Williamsport branch of Jersey Shore State Bank. Shirley had a passion for gardening and floral arranging. She was a member of the Montoursville Garden Club and won many blue ribbons for her floral arrangements. In addition to gardening and traveling, she was an avid thrift store shopper, but above all else she loved her family.

Surviving are their children and their families; daughter Shirley Ann (Frank) Clark of Jersey Shore; son Michael R. (Victoria) Mohney of Williamsport; grandchildren Tara (Christopher), Andrea (Zach), Shelby; great grandchildren Nikolai, Konrad and Kameron; siblings, Mary Burchanowski, Robert Schuler, Ronald (Alice) Schuler and her fur babies.

In addition to her parents and husband, brothers Charles, Joseph and Eugene Schuler Sr. all preceded her in death.

The family will receive family and friends at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. 3rd St., Williamsport on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 1 to 2 p.m. A funeral service to honor Shirley will be held at 2:00 p.m., followed by burial at Wildwood Cemetery.
