Stephanie M. Protasio, 70, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully at the Gatehouse on July 27, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Stephanie was born in Williamsport on June 19, 1954 a daughter of the late Phillip and Natalie (Paduano) Giacomi.

She was a 1972 graduate of Loyalsock Twp. High School, and had retired after a career with Susquehanna Health.

A history enthusiast, she was member of Friends of Gettysburg and the American Battlefield Trust. She was also a friend and lover of all animals.

She and her husband, Charles F. Protasio celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary October 16, 2023. In addition, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Alicia and Robert Sebring of Cogan Station and her niece, Genni Decker of Tampa survive her.

The family will receive family and friends at the Church from 9 to 10 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Rd. Williamsport, PA on Wednesday., August 14, 2024. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg will be at the convenience of the family.
