Obituary

Theressa R. Fredo, 97, of Williamsport, passed away at Valley View Nursing Center on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021.
She was born in Williamsport on April 9, 1924, a daughter of Guillamo "William" and Madalena (Vallucci) Maggi.
She was a member of the former Mater Dolorosa Church, now St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Theressa had worked as a seamstress at the former Arrow Shirt Factory. When she was younger, she enjoyed cooking and was known for her delicious pizza. She also enjoyed going golfing with her husband.
Surviving are her sons and their families; William J. Fredo and his children, William C. (Kate) Fredo, Brian M. (Brent) Fredo, Brent A. Fredo, Jennifer M. (Thomas) Clark; son, Michael A. (Kimberlee) Fredo, his children, Evan M. (Jenny Knecht-Fredo) Fredo, twins, Jordan (Taylor) Fredo, Kaitlyn (Anthony) Fredo-Alston, predeceased daughter, Sherry Fredo-Heaps and her son, Darren (Vanessa) Heaps; 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her daughter, her husband of 65 years, William C. Fredo died Feb. 4, 2013, also her siblings, Anthony and Sivione Maggi, Jennie Samar, Mary Kiodo, Louise Bellott and Antionette DeSanto all preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. 4th St., Williamsport with her pastor, Rev. David W. Bechtel officiating.
Burial in Wildwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggest memorial contribution in Theressa's name may be made to Susquehanna Foundation for the benefit of UPMC Family Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, Pa., 17701
