Wayne Derrick, 68, of Loyalsock Twp., passed away at home, unexpectedly on Friday, March 14, 2025.

Wayne was born in Williamsport on April 18, 1956, a son of the late, Franklin Derrick and Lottie (Gray) Derrick Laidacker.

He had been employed for 30 years at Muncy Homes and most recently had been working at the Faxon Carwash, when Wayne was younger, he enjoyed hunting and was currently a member of the Loyalsock Lions Club.

Wayne and his wife, Diane K. Harbach Derrick, observed their 36th wedding anniversary in June of 2024. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Matthew W. Derrick; sibling, Dottie "Carmine" Alberico, George Derrick, Diane and Dale Derrick; step-father, Stanley Laidacker and numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, a brother, Richard Derrick and sister, Donna Smith preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated in the future.
